bestFormatter( double a, double b ) → org.das2.datum.format.DatumFormatter

Return a common formatter for two double values. Preserves their decimal significant digits, padding with zeros where necessary.

Parameters

a - first value
b - second value

Returns:

a formatter suitable for both values
