Jeremy Faden has worked in space physics for twenty years for the University of Iowa, and independently since January 2001.

He offers a broad skill set and will happily take on work utilizing:

• Applications programming in Java, Jython, SciPy, Harris Geospatial IDL, C
• Web services, using dynamic html, jsp, php and cgi-bin scripting
• Thin client software using ajax, javascript, and java.
• Configuration control using svn and git
• Rapid software development and maintenence using state-of-the-art development tools
• Low ownership cost computer system design and maintenence using vnc and rsync
• Process automation in the Unix environment using scripting languages
